Layaway Plan

For a total sale of $299 or less:

We offer 90-day layaway on all receipts with a sales total of $299 or less. You must put 10% down or $10, whichever amount is greater. No minimum payments due after the initial 10%. You then have a total of 90 days to pay your layaway in full. With a minimum payment of 33% of the outstanding balance or $10 due, whichever amount is greater due every 30 days. If you do not meet these requirements, we will default your layaway and place the item back for sale. Layaway deposits are non-refundable.

If you change your mind while the item is in layaway, we will charge no less than a 25% restocking fee of the original sales price towards restocking. Our standard return policy applies once you pick up your layaway item except for fully functional items. There will be no less than a 50% restocking fee for any item returned that works as stated unless you are applying it toward an item priced 125%, then we will apply the whole amount towards your new purchase. Pawn Max is not liable for any increase or decrease in the value of any items during the term of layaway and will not offer refunds or increase/decrease the price during your layaway.

For a total sale of $300 & up:

We offer a 12-month layaway program for purchases with a total of $299 or more. You must put 10% down or $30, whichever is greater. No minimum payments due after the initial 10%. You then have a total of 12 months to pay your layaway in full, with a minimum payment of 7.5% of the outstanding balance or $22.50, whichever is greater, due every 30 days. If you do not meet these requirements, we will default your layaway and place the item back for sale. Layaway deposits are non-refundable.

If you change your mind while the item is in layaway, we will charge no less than a 25% restocking fee of the original sales price towards restocking in months 1 through 6. During months 7 through 12, we will charge no less than a 50% restocking fee of the original sales price. There will be no less than a 50% restocking fee for any item returned that works as stated unless you are applying it toward an item priced 125% of the original purchase. We will apply the whole amount to your new purchase.
